Terms of service

These terms govern access to the HornetStrike platform, website and related services. They incorporate the privacy policy.

01 Acceptance

By accessing HornetStrike you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you accept for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it.

02 The service

HornetStrike provides investigative and cyber intelligence: resolution of identifiers, monitoring, case tools, analytics and reporting. It does not intercept the content of private communications. Training and consultation are provided where scoped.

03 Who may use it

Government agencies and law enforcement, licensed private investigators, corporate security and compliance teams, and authorised legal or regulatory bodies. You will not use the service unlawfully, share credentials, reverse engineer the software, disrupt the platform, or violate another person’s rights.

04 Accounts

You keep credentials confidential and tell us at once about unauthorised use. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or creates a security risk.

05 Data and IP

You keep rights in material you submit. You grant a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service. The software, mark and documentation belong to HornetStrike / ScaryByte and are not yours to copy.

06 Availability

We aim for continuous operation. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change with notice. Continued use after a term change is acceptance.

07 Liability

To the extent the law allows, HornetStrike is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Total liability for a claim is capped at the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

08 Indemnity

You will cover HornetStrike and its people against claims that come from your use of the service or a breach of these terms.

09 Compliance and export

You comply with South African law, data-protection rules and export controls. You will not export the service where the law forbids it.

10 Termination

Either party may end the agreement in writing. Access stops on termination. Clauses that should survive, do. We may suspend immediately for a security risk or a serious breach.

11 Law

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. Disputes are resolved under South African law.
